Restrict Eating Times
Start waiting longer to eat your first meal and make sure you get in your final meal of the day 2 hours before you go to bed. For instance, if you go to bed at 10 pm, make sure you don’t eat past 8 pm in order to get more restful sleep. If you can eat all of your daily nutrition in an 8-hour window each day you’ll experience the many health benefits that have been linked to intermittent fasting.
Eat Smaller Meals
Try to eat 3-5 smaller meals per day instead of a couple of large ones. Overeating increases your chances of being outside your target body weight and also forces the body to spend precious energy on digestion.
Eat Clean
Start saying “no” to fast food and foods rich with processed carbs. Start cutting out sugary foods and choose dark chocolate when you’re in the sweets section of the grocery store. Eating clean, whole foods will also promote a healthier GI system.
